The expression of Muksin’s paintings emphasizes the presence of strokes of form and color that reflect the sensitivity of a flexible attitude. Muksin begins his painting process on an empty canvas—in the philosophy of Javanese cultural tradition associated with the meaning of suwung—which then becomes filled with content, namely: traces of the flexible movement of elements of form and color.
